Wide Sands Beach Retreat features a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a bar and shared lounge in Pulukan. Such a lovely hotel, situated directly at a beautiful long beach. Very modern, pretty rooms. Friendly staff. Very good food. Very good price to value ratio in my opinion. Wi-Fi well enough for me to work. Far away from the over crowded, over touristy south Bali. Restaurants/cafes with good food and coffee nearby. Just be aware, apart from surfing and enjoying the beach there is not so much to do in the area - so come to relax and/or surf. :)

Rooms are nice (even though I personally prefer an actual duvet instead of just sheets) and you slept like a baby. Was literally a one minute walk from medewi point, and the surf there is just always great. But the absolute best point is Agus. He’s the owner, and he is simply the best. Offered surf lessons, bike rides, and just talked with you a lot. He really gave you the time of day, just like the rest of his staff. They could fix goddamn anything.
